Playwrights

In class today we started out by turning in our homework from the previous night. Later, we started warm up with Olivia. The warm up was called career day. We had to ask questions and the person standing up front had to guess what she/he was. Later, we went over our play idea chart and student were able to share with the class their ideas. Once we were done, we had about 5 minutes to pick our play idea which will be the one we work on while Olivia is with us. Then we did some answering questions on our main character to get to know him/her. It was fun and class went by fast today. I really like playwrights!

In class today we started out by getting out plays out and settling in class. Soon after we began class with Olivia and we started out warm up. The warm up was a game where we had to change 3 things and try to identify what they were. We had Maria, Tony, Marcos, and Sam go and try it out too. It was really fun. Then we finished turning in our homework and Olivia had us do a listening and imagination notes, type thing. She would put on music and we had to come up with a setting, some characters, and the at rise of the play we are imagining. I was very fun. We did one as a class and 3 others on our own. When the bell rang we were ready to go.
